Eric Prydz Background
In 2004, Eric Prydz issued the infectious "Call on Me," which created
a stir in Europe. Carved out of "Valerie," Steve Winwood's hit from '87, "Call on Me" was something Prydz put together initially
just to play for friends. But eventually it peaked the singles chart in Germany and England. A year later, Prydz came out
with "Woz Not Woz." This track was representative of the 1980 track, "Wheel Me Out." "Proper Education" dropped in 2006. The
tune built on Pink Floyd's notorious anthem "Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2." Prydz continued to crank out tracks under
his Pryda label over the next few years with his efforts stacking up for inclusion in Eric Prydz Presents Pryda(2012). The
triple-disc featured newer material along with previous tracks mixed and edited by Prydz.
