The Everett Silvertips are a major junior ice hockey team based in Everett. Part of the Western Hockey League, the team
has seen several former members drafted into the National Hockey League (NHL) over the years performing for a plethora of
fans and their namesake, the silvertip bear. The leagues 2006-2007 was their most successful, marking their third US Division
title in just four years, earning them the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy for best regular season record.
