About Every Time I Die
by the Buckley brother, Keith and Jordan, Every Time I DIe would be a full fleshing out of a random brotherly side project
that soon enlisted a full retinue of metal rock musicians, including Andy Williams, John McCarthy and Michael Novak. The band
was an immediate local scene success, growing and shaping the New York area metal scene as it matured to one of the metal
meccas of North America. Quickly being signed by Ferret Records, the band immediately jumped onto a nationwide tour with fellow
hardcore rockers Killswitch Engage and began setting fire to concert venues all across the country.
The band's momentum
would keep up as they toured along Jackass' Steve O before heading onto the iconic Vans Warped Tour, which culminated in an
appearance on the mainstream metal apparatus Ozzfest. Their tracks began appearing across multiple mediums, including pickups
from video games Guitar Hero and MotorStorm, as well as a late night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The band continued to
tour across the world, becoming a part of the Van's Warped Tour backbone that would draw crowds from far and wide for their
Despite mainstream success, the band went through near constant lineup changes but was always headed
by the Buckley Brothers, whom safe guarded Every Time I Die's iconic sound and metal roots. Today's lineup of the brothers
Buckley, Andy Williams, Stephen Micciche and Ryan Leger have shown that Every Time I Die's colossal momentum is showing no
signs of slowing down as they release hit album after hit album and continue a frenzied worldwide tour schedule that is selling
out venues across the globe.
Perhaps one of the band's biggest hits to date, their sixth
full length Ex Lives would drop in 2012 to immediate commercial and critical success. The album quickly climbed the US and
Australian charts, hitting the #20 and #46 spots, respectively, and making an impressive showing over radio waves across the
world. Under the tutelage of visionary producer Joe Barresi at Epitaph records, Ex Lives received rave reviews across the
board including near perfect ratings from AbsolutePunk, Rock Sound, and Blare Magazine. The album spawned some of the most
core components of the Every Time I Die discography, including "Revival Mode", "Partying Is Such Sweet Sorrow", and "The Low
Road Has No Exits".
Every Time I Die is cursed with a bad case of bad bass slappers, having gone
through seven bassists in the past. The band's current bassist, Stephen Micciche, is their eighth.
The band has become
a core piece of the rock and metal scene, featuring collaborations with some of the biggest names in the industry including
Fall out Boy's Pete Wentzand The Bronx's Matt Caughthran.
