through a radio broadcast just how important she was to the people of her nation.

What happened to Evita after her death in 1952?A: She was embalmed and then put on display in Juan Peron's house for a time
before her body disappeared. In 1971, it was revealed that she had been buried under a false name in Italy to protect her
body after Juan and Eva's names and likenesses were banned in Argentina following his fall from power.
