About Fab Faux
The Fab Faux
formed in 1998, an assortment of lifetime musicians who already had garnered musical success in different sections of the
mainstream music industry. The band is comprised of Jimmy Vivino, Will Lee, Rich Pagano, Frank Agnello, and Jack Petruzzelli.
Vivino has been a longtime fixture on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, serving as Conan's music director for over two decades.
He would be an invaluable member of team Conan and would follow him to Los Angeles, utilizing his free time to explore his
other musical endeavors, specifically The Fab Faux.
Will Lee has been slapping the bass for The Fab Faux since its inception,
and also has been slapping the bass for a Mr. Dave Letterman on the Late Show for over twenty years. Lee has been a dabbling
musician on hundreds of different albums, ranging from Ricky Martin to James Brown to Frank Sinatra. Lee is a Grammy recipient
and has performed live with 75% of the lineup of the Beatles.
Rich Pagano has spent most of his time on the live performance
circuit, playing with various musical acts from Rosanne Cash to Joan Osborne. While not slamming the drum kit with The Fab
Faux, Pagano writes and records his own music and tours for his solo career. Brother in arms Frank Agnello hails from similar
roots, having played with Marshall Crenshaw, Joey Molland, and Jackie DeShannon. When not jamming with The Fab Faux, final
member of the band Jack Petruzzelli is writing and recording his own music or winning Clark Gable look alike contests. Petruzzelli's
long musical history and his talent for playing many different instruments make him a vital part of The Fab Faux's lineup.
The Fab Faux have made numerous appearances in the biggest and best music halls across the world.
The band has consistently packed, and even sold out, some of the most iconic pop rock venues including the Beacon Theatre
and the Bowery Ballroom. The band is a consistent showpiece in Liverpool's 'Beatle Week', which takes place annually and routinely
anticipates The Fab Faux's regular performance.
The band has also hit the airwaves, privileged by their extensive network
of connections amongst broadcast television. They've made appearances on Letterman's Late Show, The Howard Stern Show, and
Conan's Late Night show.
Jimmy Vivino and Will Lee were the catalysts to the formation of the Fab
Faux, meeting while neighbors living in New York City. After bouncing the idea back and forth during chance encounters in
their building's elevator, the two would recruit Pagano, Agnello, and Petruzzelli to form the Fab Faux.
The name Fab
Faux (pronounced 'Fab Fo') derives from the Beatles' early nickname the fab four.
With no clearly designated singer,
all members of the band contribute to vocals on different songs. This mimics the Beatles' style where vocals would be shifted
to different Beatles on different songs.
