Faith Evans tickets - Faith Evans tour dates

Faith Evans Tour Schedule

R&B superstar Faith Evans has led quite the life, as one of the biggest names in the genre, Faith has won Grammy awards and sold millions of albums. In addition to her music career, Faith Evans has also appeared in movies and published her own award winning memoir. However, it is her music and soulful voice that initially made her a star ans what still brings people all over the world out to see her performing live. She took a brief hiatus from music in 2008 but returned as good as ever in 2012 and is now set to return to her place atop the R&B world.

Faith Evans has some big concerts lined up in December, and for anyone who is familiar with her hit 2007 Christmas album, A Faithful Christmas, that should be exciting news. Friday December 27th will see Faith taking the stage at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri while the following night on the 28th she will grace Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago, Illinois with her presents. You can expect to hit many of Faith Evans' biggest hits alongside some of the Christmas songs she gifted the world with on A Faithful Christmas. There can be no better way to celebrate the holiday season than with the masterful R&B songstress Faith Evans!

About the Artist

Faith Evans began her music career in 1993 and signed to Bad Boy Records. Soon after she met Christopher Wallace, AKA Notorious B.I.G. at a photo shoot and the two eventually got married. She had three straight platinum albums released in the late Nineties and early 2000's before signing to Capitol Records. While some people know her best as Notorious B.I.G.'s widow, those with any knowledge of R&B are well aware that Faith Evans is a major figure in the genre who has not only released platinum selling solo albums but also collaborated with other big time artists like Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Carl Thomas, and others. She has released five studio albums during her career as well as appeared in movies, on television shows, and written her memoir, Keep the Faith, which won the African American Literary Award for Best Memoir in 2009.

While living in Los Angeles working as a back up singer for Al B. Sure, Faith Evans caught the eye of Sean Combs who signed him to his record label Bad Boy. Soon she was appearing on the albums of label mates Mary J. Blige and Usher. The biggest break for Evans was her vocals on P. Diddy's Grammy winning song I'll Be Missing You, a tribute to Evans' belated husband, and Diddy's friend, Notorious B.I.G. who was shot in an unsolved drive by in Los Angeles during the height of the East Coast versus West Coast rap war of the 1990's. Faith Evans scored her highest charting album in 2005 after she had signed with Capitol Records and released The First Lady which reached the top spot on U.S. R&B charts.

The Experience

Inside a packed house, the lights dim and legendary R&B singer Faith Evans makes her way onto the stage. The crowd erupts as she makes her way to the center of the stage and the microphone stand. She cues the band and they play the opening notes to a hit jam from one of her albums like The First Lady, Faith, Faithfully, Keep the Faith, or Something About Faith. As the night goes on the hits keep coming and you and your friends are dancing and singing along to song after song. Maybe if it's the right time of year you will get to hear Faith sing one of the songs from her Christmas album A Faithful Christmas. Always known to have an incredible stage presence and a heavenly voice, Faith Evans really knows how to connect with her fans no matter how big or small the venue in which she is performing. She is one R&B performer any music lover will not want to miss when she comes to town.

When Faith Evans first signed to Bad Boy Records in 1994 she became the first female artist to signed with P. Diddy's label. Faith Evans was cast on the reality TV show R&B Divas Atlanta in 2012 where she appeared with Nicci Gilbert, Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt and Monifah. The cast album was released in the same year with all proceeds from the album's sales benefiting New Jersey's Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative & Performing Arts. Her fifth album, Something About Faith marked her 2010 comeback from her hiatus and reached number one on the independent albums charts. In addition to her Grammy win for I'll Be Missing You, Faith Hill was nominated for a Grammy for her collaboration with Whitney Houston and Kelly Price on the song Heartbreak Hotel which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts.
