Toyota Stadium Dallas History
Toyota Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium which opened in 2005 in Frisco, Texas and
since then has served as the home of FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The venue was known as Pizza Hut Park from the time
it opened up until 2012 when Pizza Hut lost its naming rights. From 2012 through 2013 the venue was known as FC Dallas Stadium
before becoming Toyota Stadium. In addition to the main stadium the complex surrounding Toyota Stadium features 17 full sized
soccer fields which are used as practice fields by FC Dallas as well as being used to host youth soccer tournaments. The entire
complex is known as Toyota Soccer Complex. The popular venue hosts events all year round and StubHub is the place to go for
tickets to every one of them.
Toyota Stadium Dallas Events
Toyota Stadium is one of the few soccer specific
stadiums i the country and is primarily known as the home of FC Dallas of the MLS. However, it also hosts a wide variety of
other events including the NCAA Men's College Cup, high school football games, youth soccer, the American Athletic Conference
Soccer Championships, concerts, and more. Soccer fans will be thrilled to attend Toyota Stadium to see FC Dallas take on several
of the best the MLS has to offer including the Philadelphia Union, Club Leon, the New England Revolution, Aston Villa, the
Colorado Rapids, Real Salt Lake, the Seattle Sounders, and more. Toyota Stadium is the place to go for soccer lovers in the
Frisco is located just outside of Dallas, Texas. As the ninth largest city
in the United States Dallas offers plenty of options for tourism and a trip to Texas without a stop in Dallas is certainly
incomplete. Be sure to take a trip to the Dallas Arts District and stop by the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, the Dallas

Toyota Stadium Dallas Seating Layout
Toyota Stadium is capable of seating up to 20,500
guests for its biggest FC Dallas games and the level of excitement in the stadium during a big game is unlike that of any
other sports stadium in the United States. Once you attend a game at Toyota Stadium you will immediately start wanting to
make plans for your return trip.
The first event held at Toyota Stadium was a game between the
MetroStars and FC Dallas which ended in a 2-2 tie. The venue has become especially well known for hosting youth soccer events
including Dallas Cup, the ODP National Championships, and the USYSA National Championships.
