Where to Watch Federation Internationale de Volleyball Games
On the sand or on the indoor court, the Federation
Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) runs volleyball at the sport's highest levels. The FIVB is responsible for international
Olympic qualifying and most major international tournaments.
World ChampionshipsThe FIVB Men's and Women's
World Championships feature the best national indoor volleyball teams from throughout the world. The competition takes place
on a four-year cycle, two years before each Olympics. Following a series of qualifying tournaments, the top 24 teams in each
gender meet at a single site to determine the world title holder.
World LeagueThe top men's national indoor volleyball
teams also compete each year in the World League, providing a chance for audiences throughout the world to see the top players
in action in a round-robin tournament. In the first round, teams compete in home-and-away matches. The top qualifiers, plus
a predetermined host nation, meet for the league finals.
World Grand PrixThe top women's national indoor volleyball
teams compete in this annual series. The first round features teams playing in pools against several opponents across a weekend
at a single site. The top teams, after qualifying, play at one site for the Grand Prix finals.
World CupThe World Cup
is held at a single site every four years. Both men's and women's indoor volleyball teams compete, with the top three teams
for each earning automatic qualification for the next Olympics.
Beach Volleyball World ChampionshipsThe top duos in
men's and women's beach volleyball compete in the world championships every two years. A site, determined by a rotating schedule,
hosts the top 48 teams.

FIVB oversees an annual series of international beach volleyball
tournaments. Tournaments include both men's and women's teams in high level competition played throughout the world.
