Fiesta Bowl Schedule

Each and every college bowl season, the Fiesta Bowl brings together thousands upon thousands of football fans for an epic clash featuring gridiron titans, and that's a tradition that isn't likely to change any time in the near future. Come out and see the action first-hand from the Fiesta Bowl and you'll be in for an experience that you could be talking about long after it's all over, as watching college football live and in person when it's played at a level this high is something to behold. Glendale, Arizona springs to life every year when the Fiesta Bowl gets underway at the University of Phoenix Stadium, giving fans some unbelievable thrills for all of the fans that come out to see it all in person.

Ever since it first got rolling in 1971 at Sun Devil Stadium, the Fiesta Bowl has been bringing together some of the best teams in college football to conclude the season on a high note. The Fiesta Bowl certainly qualifies as one of the very best games of the year, making this a matchup you don't to skip if you're looking for a gridiron thrill featuring some of the best playmakers in college football. Once you're there watching a great game featuring some exciting players that know how to put on a show, you'll be glad that you're not sitting anywhere else, as college football gets taken to a completely different level when you get to see it the way it was meant to be seen.

The NCAA Football Experience

When your favorite team storms the gridiron for an electrifying matchup against a rival, you'll understand the difference between seeing them on your fancy TV and seeing them from the stands. Once you've seen the game the way it was meant to be seen, the TV experience suddenly feels like taking a look at the Grand Canyon on a postage stamp. Be there for all of the hard-hitting college football action, from highlight reel runs and eye-popping catches to clutch throws that will have you jumping out of your seat in no time. With a game loaded with players that know how to put on a show, you'll see first-hand why the college football has become the cream of the crop in American sports.

The Teams

Featuring talented teams from the Big 12, the Fiesta Bowl always is loaded with electrifying college football thanks to a steady string of some of the best players in the country that come to town. There is nothing like actually being there and feeling the pulse of the crowd as the game gets ratcheted up to its highest levels, so start making your plans as soon as you can to join in the heart-pounding excitement. Teams from the Big 12 know how to light up the scoreboard in a real hurry, which is why it makes for an exciting brand of football that has been giving fans reason to come to the stands in Glendale for a while now. College football is one of the most popular sports in the country for a reason, and it definitely isn't because big bowl games like the Fiesta Bowl are lacking in excitement.

Fiesta Bowl Trivia

Did you know that Marcus Dupree once won the MVP of the Fiesta Bowl?

Back in the early 1980s, Marcus Dupree was the star among stars, as he helped create a reputation of being one of the greatest running backs in college football history. It really came together for Dupree in January of 1983, when a dominant performance by Dupree was a catalyst in helping the Oklahoma Sooners stay in the game against the very tough Arizona State Wildcats. Even though the Wildcats would win the game, Dupree was so good that he got the MVP anyway.

Fiesta Bowl History

The University of Phoenix Stadium is sure to be absolutely rocking when the Fiesta Bowl kicks off this season, making it the perfect place to be if you consider yourself a true college football fan. Be there for all of the bench-gripping moments as the Fiesta Bowl brings together two unbelievable teams that both know a thing or two about putting on a show for their dedicated fans. The Fiesta Bowl first got rolling in Tempe, Arizona, though it made the move to Glendale in 2007 and found the perfect home in the state-of-the-art facility of University of Phoenix Stadium.
