can trace their musical lineage back to the late 1990's, when they performed under the name Numb. Their new and original sound
was originally misconstrued and they were considered to be a Deftones cover band, which they deny to this day. True fans of
their sound rallied around this fresh new quartet, and supported them through the release of their first EP, Falling Into
Place, which hit record stores in 2001 under the Drive-Thru Records imprint. Over 6,000 copies of the album were sold within
a few months of the release, and their burgeoning success began to grow past their hometown of Temecula, California-- turning
them into the nationally recognized band they are today.

Say Hello to Sunshine, Finch's
second album, was released in 2005 after a tumultuous period in the band's existence. During the recording of the album, the
band all but disappeared from the public eye and made changes to both the line-up and their representation. The turmoil paid
off, however, and their sophomore effort burst onto the scene with massive support from their fans, despite mixed reviews
from critics. Say Hello to Sunshine also marked an important evolution for Finch, as they segued into and sharper, harder,
and more genuine post-hardcore sound which cemented their place as heavy-hitters in the blossoming genre.
In 2006, despite their rampant success and status in the industry, Finch announced an indefinite hiatus.
The members of the band still dabbled in side projects and solo work, but cited stress and differences of opinion as insurmountable
obstacles for the band as a whole. Their break from music would prove to be short-lived, however, as they launched a reunion
tour with fellow bands Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Foxy Shazam, and Tickle Me Pink in 2008. Later that year they released a self-titled
EP, but soon disbanded once more in 2010. Their love for their music and for their fans is undeniable though, and they are
hitting the road once again in 2013 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their debut album with a national tour.
