Folsom Field History
Located on the campus of the University of Colorado, this outdoor football stadium has been
hosting big crowds since it first opened the gates in 1924. The original name of this venue was Colorado Stadium, but it was
renamed in 1944 upon the death of Fred Folsom, a coach of the Buffaloes that notched a winning percentage of.760. As home
field for the University's beloved Colorado Buffaloes, its long history and enthusiastic fans make it an all-time favorite
stadium for catching a game and more. Locals, tourists and students alike love to pack this place and cheer on the home team
or even the occasional top notch recording star at a live concert. This stadium has seen some incredible games in the past,
and it should continue to be the site for top-notch football action.
