About Forecastle Music Festival
The Forecastle Music Festival
has been held annually in Louisville, Kentucky since 2002. It originally began as a small gathering of musicians from the
local area, but it eventually grew to attract national attention for music and art lovers from all over. The festival now
features art collectives, speakers, environmental workshops, and draws the likes of major touring acts like The Flaming Lips,
My Morning Jacket, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The Black Keys.
The Forecastle Music Festival was originally founded by
JK McKnight, and it is now co-produced by AC Entertainment. Since its humble beginnings in 2002, the festival has grown each
year and continues to attract people from all over.

Forecastle Festival has also started their own international non-profit environmental foundation called "The Forecastle Foundation,"
