        Foster the People first began making music in 2009, when the band formed in Los Angeles, California. The dance-pop indie band instantly caught on with the local indie scene, and the trio's first big single "Pumped up Kicks" became a radio hit immediately upon release. The band released an eponymous EP in 2011 and continues rockin' and rollin' with live shows around the country.
