Since this baseball park used to be known as Time Warner Field and Fox Cities Stadium at different times, the two names
have become fungible among the people around Grand Chute, Wisconsin when they are referring to the home of the minor league
baseball team known as the Timber Rattlers. For the sake of clarity, let's just say that Fox
Cities Stadium tickets are tickets not only to Time Warner Field, but also to a great night of fun at the ballpark.
The name of the stadium comes from the term that describes the metroplex is a group of small cities in Wisconsin that includes
Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Appleton and Grand Chute. Fox Cities Stadium was built in 1995, and has hosted the NCAA Division
III College World Series several times. The Fox Cities Stadium seating chart
is capable of holding 5,500 people at maximum capacity.
The Timber Rattlers are a minor league baseball team that plays in the Class A Midwest League Western Division. They are
the single A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Several famous MLB stars have played for the Timber Rattlers at one point
or another, including Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, and Tom Gordon, all of whom went on to have successful MLB careers.
