        With a capacity of 1,500 people, the Fox can hold quite a crowd, and thousands of people have walked its halls over the decades to check out concerts and theatrical productions. The building's history traces back to 1930, when it opened as a movie house that soon started showing talkies. Performances by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and pianist Arthur Rubinstein came to follow.
