After Frank Turner's hardcore punk outfit Million Dead broke up, he unplugged his guitar and kept on playing. Turner evolved
from a punk singer-songwriter to one with folksier leanings, and his solo project has seen him explore new sounds that you
wouldn't have expected when he was with Million Dead. Ready to hear his new album, England Keep My Bones? Get concert tickets today.
Frank Turner's life has made him a well-traveled man. He was born in Bahrain in 1981, then got his education at Eton College
in the U.K. He joined Million Dead, a hardcore punk outfit, in 2000, and stayed with it for a good four-year run. The project
taught him a lot about music, and those lessons were put into practice when he formed his folksier solo project in 2005, when
Million Dead broke up.
Frank Turner is no stranger to the road. He's spent plenty of time touring while with Million Dead, and now that he has
his own solo project - and a new record out, to boot - he's back on the charge again. You can see him play his new material
when he comes to Brooklyn's Knitting
Factory. Get tickets
