Their sophomore album, You Could Have It So Much Better (2005) embraced a platinum-selling status in the U.K. and gold-selling status in the U.S. The album charted the U.K. album charts and earned a spot on the Top 10 in the Billboard 200 in the U.S. The hit single, Do You Want To, came off this album as well. Their album, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, was released globally in 2009, and also landed on the Top 10 in the U.S. and the U.K.
