George Thorogood was born and raised in Delaware, and throughout his childhood he was actively
involved in various sports. After high school, Thorogood played on a semi-professional baseball team in Delaware, and was

as an athlete to pursue a career in music.

George Thorogood's musical career. Thorogood and The Destroyers were soon playing in major venues on the East Coast, and finally
