Did you know that Herschel Walker wasn't drafted until the fifth round of the
1985 NFL draft?
After dominating for the Bulldogs, Walker continued to absolutely shred defenses when he played in the
USFL, where he won two rushing titles in three seasons and amassed 2,411 yards in 1985, setting the all-time professional
record for rushing yards. After that, somehow Walker managed to slip all the way to the fifth round, where the Dallas Cowboys
finally selected him.
