Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Basketball Schedule in 2014-15
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are ready to take to
the court and put the sting on any team that dares hit the floor against them at home. The Jackets have a roster loaded with
top players that are ready to show the rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference that they mean business. The Yellow Jackets always
have a tough schedule thanks to the competitiveness of the ACC on an annual basis, and this season should be no different.
Last season the Jackets had a decent season, notching a record just below.500, but they were only able to win six games against
conference foes. The Jackets will have to fare better against some of the better teams in the conference in 2014-15 if they
hope to rise in the ranks of the ACC. There will be plenty of opportunities for the Jackets to prove that they're one of the
conference's elite teams as some big programs will come into McCamish Pavilion to do battle on the hardwood this season.
Yellow Jackets will have a tough game on their hands when the Duke Blue Devils visit this season. The Blue Devils may have
lost standout Jabari Parker to the National Basketball Association, but they've always got a roster loaded with some of the
top recruits in the nation. With Coach K at the helm, the Blue Devils always seem to be in consideration for the National
Championship. The Jackets will have to buckle down on defense to take down Duke in this contest. Tech won't be able to rely
on their talent to get them through this one; it's going to take hard work on the court. The arena should be absolutely packed
for this contest, as Duke always draw big numbers wherever they go.
Another elite program will visit this season when
the North Carolina Tar Heels come to town. The Tar Heels have a big-time recruiting class coming to Chapel Hill, and when
they arrive in Atlanta it could spel disaster for the Yellow Jackets. Tech will do anything to avoid that, though, and the
players will be ready to lay ti all on the line to secure the victory. McCamish Pavilion will be filled with fans looking
to see a great matchup, and they're likely to get exactly that. You can be there with the biggest hoops fans to enjoy all
