Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Women's Basketball Schedule in 2014-15
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are ready to
hit the court this season and try to sting the competition. The Jackets have a roster brimming with talent, and these players
are ready to show the rest of the nation that they're primed for a big season. The Jackets call the Atlantic Coast Conference
home, one of the top hoops leagues in women's college basketball. That means that each season the Jackets are matched up with
a bevy of tough teams, and 2014-15 will be no different. Last year the Jackets were able to notch nine conference wins in
16 games, which is impressive considering the competition they faced. If this Georgia Tech team is going to make their mark
in the competitive ACC this season they're going to have to beat some of the conferences' best teams at home, and they'll
have plenty of opportunities to do just that.
The Jackets will host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this season in what
will be one of the biggest matchups of the year. The Irish notched the best record in the ACC last season, going undefeated
in conference play and losing just a single game all year. The Irish are sure to return with a tough team this time around,
and the Jackets will have to play their best to get the job done on the court.
Georgia Tech will also see the Blue Devils
from Duke come to town. The Blue Devils are usually one of the best teams in the nation, and they're coming off a 28-win season.
It's always a big deal when Duke comes to McCamish Pavilion, and the stands are sure to be packed to the brim with women's
hoops fans this year. You can be there in person to see this great matchup.

The team experienced its first winning season during the 1976-77 campaign when they were able to rack up 19 wins to just eight
losses. The Jackets made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 1993 under head coach Agnus Berentato, who coached
the team for more than a decade. Georgia Tech won their first NCAA Tournament game in 2007 and made it all the way to the
Sweet Sixteen, their best tourney finish to date, in 2012. The Jackets are hoping to advance further if they can make the
Big Dance this season.

Jackets in action in another heart-pounding season that everyone will be talking about. Get out to a big game and bring a
