Germain Arena History
Construction for Germain Arena broke ground in 1997 and the project was completed the following
year. The arena was originally called Everblades Arena after the hockey team that called it home. The arena changed its name
to TECO shortly thereafter, then to Germain Arena in 2004. The Florida Everblades of the ECHL have called this building home
for the duration of its existence. It also serves as the home ice location for the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles hockey
team. This arena has been some amazing hockey contests between the two teams that play there, but Germain Arena has also played

Germain Arena is home to a variety
of great events on an annual basis. It is the hockey center for the area, playing home to both the Florida Gulf Coast University
Eagles collegiate hockey team and the ECHL's Florida Everblades. But it's not all about hockey at Germain Arena, as this venue

Estero is a census-designated place located in the southwest part of the state of Florida.
