Glenn Gould was a world renowned pianist whose career only spanned about three decades but nonetheless changed the way
classical music, and most importantly Johann Sebastian Bach, was viewed forever. The child piano prodigy started picking
up awards as a pre-teen and eventually worked his way into publishing, radio broadcasting, film scores, conducting and more.
The venue is named in his honor.
The Glenn Gould Studio has been deemed the "jewel of the Canadian Broadcasting Centre," as one of Toronto's
most popular tourist destinations and local retreats for special performances, recording facilities that are ideal for jazz
/ classical tunes and business functions. The Glenn Gould Studio tickets are
now available for your company meeting, a concert performance and more.
A tribute to one of the most well know composers and pianists of the modern generation, the Glenn Gould Studio is located
on the main floor of the Canadian Broadcasting Centre, a living tribute to the connection CBC had with Gould himself. The
building was designed by John Burgee and worked with acoustician Niels Jordan for an ideal space, making every Glenn
Gould Studio ticket great.
