Grease, a popular musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, tells the story of a fictional 1950s high school in Chicago called Rydell High. The school is dominated by the tough-guy greasers, especially their leader, Danny Zuko. However, Danny's world is turned upside down when his summer love, Sandy, transfers to his high school. Danny's a bad boy and Sandy's all good but in this case, opposites attract! The musical, while lighthearted, is filled with social issues and carries a deep message.
