Los Angeles based indie rock group, Grouplove, took shape at the end of the 2000s. Members Sean
Gadd, Christian Zucconi, Hannah Hooper, Andrew Wessen and Ryan Rabin were brought together by fate. Zucconi and Hooper, New
Yorkers, found their way to the island of Crete where they participated in an art residency. It was there where they formed
a special bond with the other members, and before they knew it, they made plans to hook up again to make their music concrete.

For bandmates, Christian Zucconi, Hannah Hooper,
Andrew Wessen, Ryan Rabin and Sean Gadd the name Grouplove is rather fitting for how they all met - at an artist colony on
the island of Crete. Their bond quickly developed, but it took them a year to reunite again to solidify their musical efforts
initially started at the commune. Hooper, Gadd and Zucconi pooled their resources and headed to Rabin's studio in L.A. On
May 10, 2010, Grouplove delivered their debut concert. They then supported Florence and The Machine as they toured the West
Coast and joined The Joy Formidable on their East Coast tour. Just six months after their first live show, the band made Nylon
Magazine's Best New Bands in 2010, Top 10 list. The band reissued their eponymous EP at the beginning of 2011. That same year,
they shared the bill with Foster The People as they crisscrossed the nation with high-profile appearances at Glastonbury,

In the fall of 2011, Never Trust a Happy Song arrived, followed by a headlining tour to promote their first
album, which included stops at big-name festivals like Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
and more. Other headlining sold-out tours followed in Australia and Europe. Their sophomore effort came out in the fall of
2013, called Spreading Rumours. That very same day, a sold-out crowd gathered in West Hollywood at the Troubadour to see Grouplove
and The Rubens in concert.
To date, Grouplove has issued two studio albums, Never Trust
a Happy Song (2011) and Spreading Rumours (2013), as well as one EP, Grouplove (2010).
