Grouplove's formation is nothing short of serendipitous,
as this talented quintet's roots lie in the island of Crete. When Hannah Hooper met Christian Zucconi in Manhattan just days
before she was set to leave for an art residency in Crete, she immediately felt a creative connection with this other talented
artist, so she invited him to Crete as well. Despite the fact that he hardly had time to even pack, Zucconi accepted, and
the two musicians headed to this classic Greek island to work on their music. It was here that they met the rest of the band:
Ryan Rabin, Andrew Wessen, and Dan Gleason. The five musicians formed an instantaneous bond and discovered their incredible
creative synergy once they started working on music together. Even though they eventually had to leave Crete, the five musicians
vowed to continue their projects once they were back in the states, and thus was the beginning of Grouplove. When the group
reunited in Los Angeles and played their first show in May 2010, they realized they had something incredible. Almost immediately
they found success in the indie community, and later that year they were invited to open for both Florence and the Machine
and the Joy Formidable, and they amassed countless new fans at every show they performed. From then on, their name spread
like wildfire in the music community, and before they knew it they were performing at music festivals like Lollapalooza, Glastonbury,
Outside Lands, and Coachella. They also toured with bands like Two Door Cinema Club, Foster the People, Young The Giant, further
cementing their spot in the indie music world as one of the best new bands. With mainstream breakthrough hits like "Colours"
and "Tongue Tied", Grouplove could officially say that they had become one of the most recognizable bands in their genre,
and now you can see them rock out in concert thanks to StubHub. Simply check out StubHub's ticket selection today so that
