About The Band
Forming in 1998 with siblings Arejay and Elizabeth "Lzzy"
Hale fronting the group, Halestorm eventually became one of the most popular and successful hard rock groups in the music
scene. They sibling duo had been writing and performing since they were 10 (Arejay) and 13 (Lzzy) years old, with them taking
on the drums and keytar respectively. Over they years they expanded their style and actually ended up releasing their first
EP "Don't Mess With The Time Man" in 1999, and later brought in two more members to fill in for bass and guitar starting in
2003. It didn't take too long before the group was signed to a label and churned out a live EP entitled "One And Done", which
sold well to the point that it is a rarity today. It was through nonstop touring alongside bands like Disturbed, Chevelle,
Papa Roach, Staind, Bullet for My Valentine, and others that helped bring them and their music to a larger audience starting
in the mid 00's, which helped greatly for their first big album release. And so it wasin 2009 with their self-titled debut
album which touted singles like "I Get Off" and more to great success. Over the next couple years they released a live album
and an EP titled "ReAnimate" which was a cover album of songs from a multitude of genres, showcasing their ability to adapt
to varying styles. After another EP they released their second album "The Strange Case Of..." which was their biggest album
Through years of hard work, non-stop touring, and churning out a wide array of
hit singles, Halestorm was finally making waves on the music scene with their albums, most notably "The Strange Case Of...".
While their early releases were solid, it wasn't until their 2012 album that they really started to get airplay for their
songs "Love Bites (So Do I)" and "I Miss the Misery". Since then the band has won a Grammy Award and has seen incredible success
It's not incredibly uncommon for family members to play together, as sometimes
there is just so much in common in terms of style and ability that it really works out, but not many groups have the kind
of family set up that Halestorm did back in the 90's. Back when Arejay and Lzzy Hale were still in their early teens and the
group was first getting started, the siblings had their father Roger playing bass in the band. This was only during the early
stages of the band, but actually worked out for a good while and he joined along for their first professional gigs.
From beginning to end of each and every show that Halestorm put on you will have a smile plastered
across your face, as not only are they amazing at playing the music that they create but they also really know how to put
on a live show. Through their multiple EP's and albums the band has shown time and time again that they are more than capable
at churning out the biggest and best hit singles in the hard rock genre possible, and they showcase their skills in spades
during their live performances. The tickets that you'll need to get to any of Halestorm's upcoming shows are available at StubHub,
