Dynamic musical duo Daryl Hall and John Oates have sold more albums than any other pair in music history! Their 1973 premiere album, Abandoned Luncheonette, produced the Top 10 single, She's Gone, which also landed a No. 1 spot on the R&B charts when it was remade by Taveras. They recorded one more album with Atlantic, War Babies, before they inked a deal with RCA. Their relationship with RCA led them to international stardom.
From the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, Hall and Oates churned out six No. 1 singles, including Private Eyes, Kiss on My List, Rich Girl, I Can't Go For That, Maneater and Out of Touch. The successful singles were products of their six consecutive multi-platinum albums. These formative years in their career also generated an additional five Top 10 singles: One on One, Sara Smile, You Make My Dreams, Method of Modern Love and Say It Isn't So.
