        Hamlet Opera tickets are now available for this wonderful story from Shakespeare, retold for the operatic stage. The tragic story of the Prince of Denmark and his sad tale of madness, heartache and betrayal which eventually lead to destruction, was rewritten for the opera by Ambroise Thomas in 1868. The libretto was written by M. Carré and J. Barbier who used the 1847 stage adaptation as source.
