Harvard Crimson Football Conference

The Harvard Crimson play in the Ivy League which is annually one of the most hotly contested conferences in all of college football. Many of the teams competing in the Ivy League have been facing off against one another for more than a century and this makes for some long-standing and incredibly passionate rivalries. There are currently eight teams competing in Ivy League football: the Brown Bears, the Columbia Lions, the Cornell Big Red, the Dartmouth Big Green, the Harvard Crimson, the Princeton Tigers, the Penn Quakers, and the Yale Bulldogs. If you are looking to see some big time college football that is steeped in years of tradition, the Ivy League is the place to go.

Trivia

The Harvard Crimson have had 20 former players inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, one of whom, William H. Lewis, was the first African-American college football player. Harvard has only appeared in one bowl game, the 1920 Rose Bowl, in which they defeated the Oregon Ducks 7-6.
