Harvard Crimson Hockey
We all know that Harvard has an international reputation as one of the best places for academia
in the world, but you're way off if you think the Crimson only know how to bring it in the classroom. The players that dominate
the ice for the Crimson are some of the best and brightest in college hockey, helping to deliver one great game after another
to their dedicated fan base that turn up to the Bright Hockey Center looking to see college hockey at its best. There is nothing
quite like being there when the game is on the line and the Crimson are digging in, as you'll end up with a completely different
level of experience that you'll be talking about a long time after the final whistle.
In recent seasons, Crimson tickets
have been hot commodities for a reason, and that's not something that's likely to change any time in the near future. See
all of the goalpost-clanking slapshots, spectacular saves and bench-gripping moments that have become standard operating procedure
for an exciting program that knows how to light it up on the rink. Once you're there in the stands, you'll understand loud
and clear what all the excitement is about, as the live hockey experience will take this sport to a completely different level
that you just can't conjure up from your dorm multitasking while going over your Economics textbook.
There's nothing like being in the stands when the game is on the line, so ditch the couch, brush
off the potato chips and get ready to see a game you won't soon forget. College hockey has plenty of great games on the schedule
each and every season, from plenty of top-tier regular season battles to conference tournament clashes that you'll have to
see first-hand to believe. These are some of the best athletes in the entire world, though that's something that you need
to see for yourself to truly appreciate. Will you be there when your favorite player lights up the back of the net with a
goal that will have everyone jumping out of their seat in unison?
One of the favorite games of
every Harvard University hockey season is against their archrival, the Cornell Big Red – another top-tier team that
tends to bring in some of the very best players in the country each and every season. Hockey games between the beloved Harvard
Crimson hockey team and the Cornell Big Red can get intense and physical, with the heat between the two programs not at all
cooled by the ice from season to season. The Crimson once again have another talented team that can do a little bit of everything,
making it always a great idea to put down the remote and see them up close and personal.
you know that the Crimson won the NCAA Tournament back in the late-1980s?
The year was 1989, the Cold War was teetering
on the edge of dissolution, "Rain Man" was sweeping through theaters – and the Harvard Crimson simply couldn't stop
winning hockey games if they tried. After plenty of years of being near the top of the sport, the Crimson broke through and
won it all in dramatic fashion, delivering a national championship and taking the program to an even higher level than it
was already at.
Harvard Crimson History

of their home games the place to be if you love ice hockey played at the highest collegiate level. Tickets are often tough
to find when hockey season comes around with students, alumni and fans, who are always anticipating some hot ice action from
this spirited bunch of players. Their reputation is only growing with each season as they press on to the NCAA tournament,
a place they have been many different times over the years. The Crimson have also won the conference tournament on eight different
occasions, and you just never know when they're going to break through and do it all over again.
There is nothing like being there for all the crucial moments of a big game alongside thousands of your fellow
fans, as you'll end up with a great sporting experience that will have you thinking about the game long after it's all over
if you head out to Bright Hockey Center this season. As soon as you're headed to the game for a highly anticipated matchup
that has helped you daydream your way through your European Lit class, you'll definitely understand that there is nothing
else quite like watching hockey up close and personal with all the other fellow fans. Whether it's a crucial matchup against
a big-time rival or an out-of-conference foe with a talented freshman starting to make a name for himself, you don't want
to miss out on the Crimson this season.
