High Points Solutions Stadium History
High Points Solutions Stadium has been the home of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights
football team since 1994 and as such has become one of the most popular destinations in all of New Jersey. When it first opened
the stadium was known as Rutgers Stadium, the same name of the decades old stadium it replaced,but the name was changed for
the first time in 2011 when the school sold the naming rights were sold to the Sparta, New Jersey based company High Points
Solutions. Recent expansions to the venue have increased the maximum capacity allowing for even more die hard Rutgers fans
to pass through the gates and cheer the Scarlet Knights on to a victory.
High Points Solutions Stadium Events
2014 college football season will be the first for Rutgers playing in the Big Ten, meaning they will have home games at High
Points Solutions Stadium against some of the best teams in the country. This year the Scarlet Knights play at home against
the Howard Bison, the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Tulane Green Wave, the Michigan Wolverines, the Wisconsin Badgers, and

New Jersey, not far from Newark which stands as the most populous city in New Jersey and as such it is a bustling metropolis

Rutgers lacrosse and soccer games as well as the 1998, 2001, and 2002 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship. The record
attendance at the stadium was set for a 2009 football game between Rutgers and the Cincinnati Bearcats.
