Each year, fans of Notre Dame Fighting Irish football and Boston College Eagles football look forward to one game in particular:
the Holy War. The Eagles and the Fighting Irish go head to head every season in a much-anticipated game. In 2010, the game
between Notre Dame and Boston saw the Fighting Irish winning, and both will be out for victory in 2011.
Both the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Boston College Eagles have a storied history of NCAA football excellence. One of the best games of every season,
though, is when the two come together to fight for bragging rights in the Holy War. The first Holy War took place in 1975,
and it has been a top tradition ever since.
The location of the Holy War is either at the home of the Fighting Irish or the home of the Eagles. The Notre Dame Fighting
play their home games at the famed Notre
Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. The Boston College Eagles' home is Alumni
Stadium, which is located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Both provide a top backdrop for the Holy War.
Once you have experienced one Holy War game, you are sure to be back. The competition on display at the Holy War every
year prompts college football fans to return year after year. Because of this, it is important to reserve sports tickets for the Holy War as soon as possible. Make sure
your spot is reserved for this season's Holy War.
