Minute Maid Park will be full of red and black this season, so you had better get you tickets to see the Astros quickly. Houston Astros tickets are in high demand nowadays, and as the Astros continue to improve, baseball tickets in Houston will only get scarcer.
MLB tickets to see the Houston Colt.45s were being sold to Texas baseball fans as early as 1962. In '65, the Houston baseball club changed its name to the Astros, and moved into the first completely enclosed baseball stadium, the Astrodome. The Astros went on a streak of Division titles in the late '90s, winning NL Central Championships in '97, '98, and '99, and as recently as 2005 went to the World Series.
The Astros are in the always-competitive NL Central, fighting it out with Cincinnati, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Houston, and Pittsburgh for a spot in the postseason every year. If everybody keeps healthy and some of the off season moves pay off, we could see the Astros in the World Series before we know it!
