Houston Dynamo Road Games

Houston Dynamo Road Games tickets

Houston Dynamo Road Games Schedule

The 2014 MLS season is in full swing and the teams who are for real are starting to separate themselves from the rest. The Houston Dynamo are in a good position in the standings, but they know that they need to win some big games that are still left on the schedule. The Dynamo know that they have quite a formidable home field advantage, with one of the loudest and most passionate fanbases in the league. Dynamo fans are always up to the challenge every game of making the experience as rough as possible for the visiting team. When the Dynamo go on the road, though, they will need some of that support as well. Looking at the Dynamo schedule on StubHub, you will find tons of amazing matchups still to be played, with a great opportunity to see some great MLS stadiums as well as be on hand to cheer on your favorite team.

On May 25, Dynamo fans will find all of the fixings for a perfect away game. The Dynamo head back to where it all began by visiting the San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium. The Dynamo were once the original San Jose Earthquakes franchise before moving to Houston before the 2006 season. There is sure to be some extra incentive when these two teams play each other and true Dynamo fans will want to head back to San Jose to support their beloved team.

Another can't miss match is the upcoming visit to CenturyLink Field in Seattle when the Dynamo take on the Seattle Sounders on August 10. Much like their NFL counterparts, the Seattle Seahawks, the Sounders are famous around the MLS for their dedicated and loud fanbase. The sea of blue and green could use a big splash of orange, so get your tickets to see all of the stars on the pitch, especially superstar Clint Dempsey, only at StubHub.

On August 29, the Dynamo head to Kansas City to take on their rivals and the reigning MLS Cup Champions at Sporting Park. Having been eliminated by Sporting KC in the playoffs last season, the Dynamo will be looking for a victory in the home of the enemy, very much knowing that these teams could meet again in the playoffs this season. Dynamo fans should take the trip to this great city to cheer on their home team as the Dynamo tune up for the MLS Playoffs.

Houston Dynamo Team

In the last 8 years, the Houston Dynamo have been one of the most successful and consistent teams in the MLS. The team celebrated their arrival as an expansion team in Houston by winning the MLS Cup in their first two seasons as a franchise. By then the fans were hooked and players like Brian Ching, Eddie Robinson, Bobby Boswell and Pat Onstad became legends in the city. The current squad is talented from top to bottom and is hoping to being back another MLS Cup to the great city of Houston.

Houston Dynamo Experience

When you see the Houston Dynamo play at BBVA Compass Stadium in downtown Houston, you are experiencing one of the great atmospheres in all of the MLS. Houston opened the state of the art BBVA Compass Stadium in May of 2012, and fans cannot get enough of this brilliant stadium. Set just off of downtown, thousands of lucky fans have a spectacular view of the Houston skyline from their seats, and since it is a true soccer stadium, there is no bad view of the pitch. There are many different fan groups that make up the gameday crowd at BBVA Compass Stadium and the chants electrify the stadium throughout the game. There has never been a better time to be a part of the MLS experience and in Houston, every match is not to be missed. When your favorite team is on the road, you are even more valuable, with every fan in orange offering much needed support in a hostile environment.

Houston Dynamo Trivia

What team is considered the Dynamo's main rival?

The Dynamo's biggest rival is their instate foe, FC Dallas. Their battle is known as the Texas Derby and the winner of the season's series takes home a cannon known as El Capitán. Whether the match is played at BBVA Compass Stadium or at Toyota Stadium in Dallas, the experience is electric and should not be missed by supporters of either side.

Houston Dynamo Fans

The MLS has some of the most passionate fans, decked out in the teams colors, bringing their horn and scarves to every match. In Houston, the fans are absolutely nuts for their team with many different supporters groups who stand and short from the first to the last whistle. Don't miss the chance to be a part of one of the most electric fansbases in sports whether you are at BBVA Compass Stadium or supporting on the road.
