        Since it's founding in the '30s, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has been the must-attend event for Texan cowpokes. Over time, it has evolved into the behemoth it is today, with barbecue, calf wrangling, and, of course, concerts. This year's events will include a slew of awesome performers. Be sure you have tickets to see Brad Paisley March 19 when he performs at the HLSR.

        Houston Rodeo Tickets - 80 years of Rodeo

        The Houston Rodeo is one of the longest-standing traditions in the state of Texas. It was founded in 1931 as the Houston Fat Stock Show and Livestock Exhibition, but over time, it has evolved into a massive free-for-all of entertainment. More than two million guests visited the rodeo in 2010 alone. If you want to be there, you need to get your concert tickets early.

        The Houston Rodeo's lineup of concert artists is always packed with stars. In 2011, country favorites like Sugarland, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and the Zac Brown Band will all be bringing talent to the stage. With games, fun, great eats and more, there's a lot to look forward to between March 1 and March 20, when the rodeo closes the gates for the last time in 2011.
