The HP Pavilion at San Jose is the home of the San Jose Sharks, SAP Open tennis tournament, American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank live boxing, San Jose Stealth and the San Jose Saber Cats. The venue is located in San Jose, California. Shoes and shirts are required at all times within the building, and no audio or video recorders are allowed in the arena for any event. There is no smoking allowed anywhere inside the arena, but there are designated smoking sections provided outside of the Pavilion.

Southbound 280: Exit at Bird Avenue. Turn left onto Bird Avenue and continue as it becomes Autumn Street. Northbound 280: Exit onto Route 87 (Guadalupe Pkwy) northbound. Exit either at Santa Clara Street or Julian Street. Southbound R.87: Exit at Julian Street. Northbound R.87: Exit either at Santa Clara Street or Julian Street. Southbound 101: Exit onto R.87 (Guadalupe Pkwy) then exit at Julian Street. Northbound 101: Exit onto Interstate 280 northbound. Then exit onto R.87 (Guadalupe Pkwy) northbound. Exit either Santa Clara Street or Julian Street. Southbound 680: Southbound 680 becomes Interstate 280 northbound. Then exit onto Route 87 (Guadalupe Pkwy) northbound. Exit either Santa Clara Street or Julian Street. Southbound 880: Exit at Coleman Avenue. Turn left onto Coleman Avenue (crossing over the freeway). Proceed on Coleman Avenue to Julian or Market Street. Northbound 17: Exit onto Interstate 280 southbound and exit at Bird Avenue. Turn left onto Bird Avenue and continue as it becomes Autumn Street.

There are a limited number of parking spaces available on site. The prices for parking vary from $6.00 to $10.00, and there are also several public and private lots situated near the Pavilion. The attendants do not accept credit cards, so dont forget to bring cash. Parking is also available outside of the HP Pavilion for $3.00 to $10.00. Sorry, no RV parking available.

Seating for events at the HP Pavilion vary based on the type of live event taking place and when, so double check the seating arrangement details with your specific performance. The HP Pavilion at San Jose has been a working entity since it opened in downtown San Jose in September of 1993, and the venue holds more than 90 sporting events annually including 40 Sharks home games, lacrosse, boxing, tennis, arena football and Strikeforce. The concert industry trade magazine Pollstar nominated the Pavilion Arena of the Year for 2005 and 2007, and artists such as Barbra Streisand, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Mickey Mouse and Billy Graham have all shared the stage at the venue, as well.
