Indiana Hoosiers Football Road Games

Indiana Hoosiers Football Road Game tickets

2014 Indiana Hoosiers Football Road Schedule

With the Hoosiers looking to continue their ascent up the standings in the Big 10, there will be plenty of buzz around the campus in Bloomington, Indiana, which is standard operating procedure considering the quality of players that come through campus. This is one of the toughest conferences in all of college football, a place where only the titans of the sport gather to battle it out for supremacy, which means that fans will be treated to a steady string of absolutely amazing matchups throughout the season. With the Hoosiers improving from 2012 to 2013, they'll once again be looking to make some strides in 2014, giving their fans plenty of reasons for optimism as they take aim at the rest of the Big 10.

Home games are obviously going to be must-see affairs for the Hoosiers all season long, but the fanfare also is palpable on the road whenever and wherever the Hoosiers take to the field. Against teams like Missouri, Michigan State, Rutgers and Ohio State, the Hoosiers have all types of amazing challenges, though they also have some dynamic playmakers that won't let this school go quietly this season. A few road wins could make the season this year, making it always a good idea to grab your favorite team gear and make sure that you don't miss a snap of the bone-jarring excitement.

Indiana Hoosiers Football Team Info

The Indiana Hoosiers have a historic football program that dates back generations, and the Hoosiers have a storied tradition that all the alumni, students and current players are immensely proud of. With one of the best athletic programs in the country, the Hoosiers have plenty to offer each and every season as they look to put it all together in the Big 10. Though this is a team that is often noted for its basketball program, the football team routinely shows their fans that they can do some damage on the gridiron as well, helping to create an enormous buzz around this team every year around campus. When the game is on the line and the Hoosiers are right in a nail-biter, it doesn't get any better than this.

NCAA Football Experience

Get out to the stands and join in the excitement first-hand as some of the best athletes in the country clash on the field with everything on the line. Sure, you can get a tiny glimpse of the action from your high-def TV, but it's nothing at all compared with actually being in the stands when your team is digging in against a top-tier opponent. One of the beautiful things about Hoosiers' football is that it tends to be powerhouse versus powerhouse throughout the season, giving fans some of the best matchups in college football from one year to the next. Tradition runs very deep in the Big 10, and Indiana Hoosiers football remains a staple of the campus for a reason.

Indiana Hoosiers Football History

With a program that dates back to 1887, you might say that the Hoosiers know their way around the gridiron. Over the years, the Hoosiers have won a couple of conference titles and have developed six different All-Americans so far, providing some amazing moments and talented teams that have captured the imagination of the local fan base. Great players like Anthony Thompson, Antwaan Randle El and more have dominated for the Hoosiers before having an impact on the next level as well, and this is the type of program that always seems to be developing the stars of both today and tomorrow.

Indiana Hoosiers Football Trivia

Did you know that the Hoosiers have six different College Hall of Famers?

Zora Clevinger, Bill Ingram, Pete Pihos, George Taliaferro, John Tavener and Anthony Thompson all were good enough in college to reach the Hall of Fame, helping to create a major standard of excellence for the entire program. Pihos, an electric defensive end, would end up dominating enough on the next level to end up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as well.

Indiana Hoosiers Football Fans

The Indiana Hoosiers football team plays its home games at Memorial Stadium, one of the best places around the Big 10 to see a football game, which is saying something. Memorial Stadium is always absolutely rocking with intensity thanks to the great fan base that comes out in support of their Hoosiers, mostly thanks to a tradition that dates back centuries and many generations at this point. But this is a team that doesn't shy away from supporting their team on the road either, as you can always find some Hoosier red and white in the stands wherever the Hoosiers end up taking the field for a big game. With the energy of the crowd steadily rising in anticipation of an epic finale and the Hoosiers just a big play away from a huge road win, the experience will speak for itself.
