Industry firsts

StubHub reinvented the ticket resale market in 2000 and continues to lead the industry in innovation. The series of "industry firsts" for StubHub includes:
StubHub releases Android ticketing application, allowing fans to search and buy tickets, as well as manage and confirm existing ticket listings.

StubHub introduces Cross Border Trade (CBT) technology, allowing fans to from over 55 countries to easily and safely purchase tickets from StubHub for all sporting and entertainment events within North America, making the purchasing process even more convenient for fans who live and travel abroad.
StubHub launches the industry's first ticketing application, allowing users to easily buy tickets on-the go using an iPhone or iPod Touch. In addition, StubHub also embarks on the industry's first partnership with a major mobile property, becoming the official ticket marketplace on ESPN Mobile Web and the ESPN ScoreCenter iPhone app.

StubHub presents its first show ever at Austin's well-attended annual South By Southwest Festival, bringing a crowd of nearly 4500 fans a comeback performance by Stone Temple Pilots.
StubHub and Jersey Boys Team-Up for Broadway's First Fan to Fan Ticket Marketplace. Aligning with Jersey Boys completes a significant final step in StubHub's affiliation with every major segment of the live entertainment industry.
StubHub launches "PriceMapper" seller tool. An industry first, PriceMapper enables users to compare prices of sold tickets with currently listed tickets. The result: an accurate pricing picture for sellers on StubHub.com.

StubHub partners with the New York Jets to conduct the first-ever public auction of Personal Seat Licenses (PSLs) for the Coaches Club section of the new Jets stadium. The stadium opens in 2010.

StubHub forges a landmark relationship with Madonna, in which StubHub is designated the Official Fan to Fan Ticket Marketplace for Madonna's Sticky & Sweet North American Tour. This is the first partnership of its kind with a secondary ticketing company.
In another industry first, StubHub partners with MLB Advanced Media to become the Official Fan to Fan Ticket Marketplace of MLB.com. The partnership includes twenty-nine MLB teams for 2008 and beyond.

StubHub signs first-ever partnership between a secondary ticket company and an AFL team (Austin Wranglers).
StubHub launches StubHub Maps , leading edge interactive seating maps from a "Web 2.0" ticketing application that combines new technologies including Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) and Adobe Flash Professional 8.

StubHub conducts the first fair market value auction for an entire concert performance (INXS @ Santa Barbara). Bidding starts at $1.

StubHub establishes the first and only FanProtect Guarantee, covering both buyers and sellers.
StubHub launches the first system (patent-pending) that allows for the direction of a seller's proceeds to benefit charities and universities (National Association for Autism Research, Rock the Vote, Stanford.)
StubHub conducts a series of first-ever national VIP Charity Auctions.
