College football fans wait with bated breath every season for the slew of bowl games following the regular season. In Arizona,
one such Bowl is the Insight Bowl. The 2010 Insight Bowl featured a matchup between the Missouri Tigers and the Iowa Hawkeyes,
with the Hawkeyes taking home the win. The 2011 Insight Bowl is sure to have just as heated competition.
Arizona is a state that knows top sporting action, and the Insight Bowl helps that reputation. Before it was known as the
Insight Bowl, the Insight Bowl was also called the Copper Bowl and the Insight.com Bowl. It has also changed locations before
finally settling in Tempe. Over the years, the Insight Bowl has earned a reputation as a place for amazing NCAA football action.
The Insight Bowl calls the Sun
Devil Stadium home. In addition to hosting the Insight Bowl, Sun Devil Stadium is the home of the Arizona State University
football team. It first opened in 1958 and has undergone many renovations since to increase the capacity to nearly 72,000.
The renovations have also brought a new playing surface.
Once you get out to see the Insight Bowl once, you will understand what all of the buzz is about. No matter which teams
make it into the Insight Bowl, it tends to attract top sports action every year. The best way to enjoy the Insight Bowl is
to go with a group. Make sure you reserve your sports
