Fight tickets to see International Fight League events have only been around since the beginning of 2006. Unlike the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) the IFL features teams of competitors from cities across the United States doing battle against other teams. No, it's not five on five at one time (which would be too awesome), but five different one-on-one fights take place before a special individual Main Event closes the night, and a team is declared the winner.
What separates the IFL from other fighting organizations like the UFC is the team aspect of it. Many different cities in the US have teams that fans can become loyal to, instead of following individual fighters.
