About The Band
Formed in 2007 Chicago, Illinois,
Evan Weiss was looking for a different kind of musical project to sink his teeth into, and so he found an incredible way to
start it off. Naming his new solo project Into It Over It, Evan began his solo career with a concept for an album that strays
far from the norm, but endears with it's simultaneous loftiness and simpleness. He would record one song every week for an
entire year, a project that eventually culminated in the 2009 double album "52 Weeks", a release that garnered Evan with praise
for the end result and the project as a whole. A new project came into his mind, and so he began to write songs that are based
solely on locations, which he released as singles until he finally finished the process and released them as a collection
called "Twelve Towns" in 2011. It was this very same year that Evan found himself working on his first full length album comprised
of proper songs, which came as the aptly named "Proper". Since then he has continued his hard work, which has resulted in
the sophomore effort titled "Intersections", released in 2013 and praised by critics and audiences alike. He continues to
tour while working on new material, much to the joy of his ever growing fanbase.
Evan Weiss was hard at work in creating music for Into It Over It ever since he formed it in 2007, his early releases didn't
garner much of an impact on the mainstream scene to be counted as a breakthrough, talented and impressive though they were.
So while his first release of "52 Weeks" was an incredible project that showed great skill and versatility, and "Twelve Towns"
was an interesting piece, it was likely with his first real album, "Proper", that he made the biggest impact. Filled to the
brim with incredible songs, "Proper" was Into It Over It's jumping off point of which Evan built on with even greater success
Into It Over It Trivia
While Into It Over It is Evan Weiss' solo project, that doesn't
mean that it is his only project, as he definitely has his fingers in many different musical pies. Practically a veteran of
the emo and music scene as a whole, Evan has been branching out for years to be a part of a wide variety of groups, most notably
with projects "Their/They're/There" and "Wires on Fire", both of which have seen great success, with the former of the two
rising through the ranks of the music scene almost at a constant pace.
There are few live
musical experiences as breathtaking and inspiring as when Into It Over It takes to the stage, as it is apparent from the very
start that playing music for his fans is something that is very near and dear to Evan's heart. And luckily for Evan it has
worked out perfectly that his fans love listening to him play his music as much as he enjoys playing it! So it doesn't matter
if you're a newcomer to Into It Over It's work or if you've been a longtime fan, because no matter what you'll end up having
a great time from start to finish. Tickets to the shows are currently on sale at StubHub, but if you really want to make it
