Inctocable was formed in 1993 by two friends who loved Tejano music. Renee Martinez and Ricky Munoz started the
band, and not too long afterward Intocable became the standard for tejano and norteno sounds. These days, Intocable are considered
one of the most prominent influences in the genre, and it is hard to ignore their impact on the scene. Intocable means "untouchable"
in Spanish, and sure enough, this tejano group is absolutely peerless. They are one of the best in Mexico, and offer up hit
after hit on the charts. They are ubiquitous on the radio, and their fans are rabid at all their live shows. So if you love

It did not take long
for Intocable to emerge as the cream of the crop of the tejano and norteno music scene. Their catchy hooks and romantic ballads

at the renowned Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City as well as headlined Reliant Stadium in Houston which drew in a record crowd
of more than 78,000 fans. They have won two Grammy Awards and were the first tejano band to play at an NFL game when they
performed before a Dallas Cowboys home game against the Washington Redskins.

While Intocable are currently one of the biggest bands in the world, it was not always
this way. Some of the band's first few independent releases did not sell well and are now highly sought after by collectors.
Intocable was influenced by the legendary conjunto leader Ramon Ayala. Two of the band's members left in 1997 to form Grupo
Masizzo, although one of them, Johnny Lee Rosas came back to the band in 2003 after having a successful career with his new
group as well as a hit solo career.
