Investors Group Field History
Investors Group Field is a state of the art football stadium that opened in Winnipeg,
Manitoba in 2013 and primarily serves as the home of the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The stadium also
serves as the home of the University of Manitoba Bisons football team, the Manitoba Fearless of the WWCFL, and the Winnipeg
Rifles of the CJFL. Clearly, Investors Group Field is the place to be for people in the Winnipeg area who love the non-stop
action of a football game. The stadium opened for the 2013 CFL season after construction delays forced the Blue Bombers to
abandon plans of opening the 2012 season in their new home. The venue has proven to be well worth the wait however, as it
has taken no time in becoming one of the premiere stadiums in all of Canada.

of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are well aware of the charms of Investors Group Field as they pack the stadium for every home
game. This season the Blue Bombers have thrilling home match ups against the Toronto Argonauts, the Ottawa Redblacks, the
Edmonton Eskimos, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Montreal Alouettes, the Hamilton Tiger Cats, the Calgary Stampeders, and
the BC Lions. Additionally Investors Group Field holds concerts by some of the biggest names in the music biz including Jay-Z,
Beyonce, The Zac Brown Band, Walk Off the Earth, and others. If there is a big event taking place in Winnipeg, chances are
it is being held at Investors Group Field and StubHub has tickets to everything happening at this world class venue.

games and is capable of expanding to allow up to 40,000 fans. On Blue Bombers game days the stadium is seething with excitement

Group Field has been chosen to host games during the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. The stadium is partially covered by a corrugated
metal roof and features 52 suites, a walk of fame, a restaurant, and more.
