Investors Group Field History
Winnipeg, Manitoba's Investors Group Field is a beautiful new football stadium that
opened its doors in 2013 and has its primary function as the home of the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Investor's Group Field
is also used as the home of the Manitoba Fearless of the WWCFL, Winnipeg Rifles of the CJFL, and the University of Manitoba
Bisons football team. Obviously, Investors Group Field is the ideal place to be for Winnipeg football fans looking to catch
some top notch action all year long. The venue first opened prior to the 2013 CFL season after construction delays forced
the Blue Bombers to abandon plans of opening the 2012 season in their new home. The venue has proven to be well worth the
wait however, as it has taken no time in becoming one of the premiere stadiums in all of Canada.
Fans of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers did not take long to warm up to the environs of Investors Group Field
as they immediately packed the venue for every single home game. This year the Blue Bombers have exciting home games against
the Ottawa Redblacks, the Toronto Argonauts, the Edmonton Eskimos, the Montreal Alouettes, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the
Hamilton Tiger Cats, the BC Lions, and the Calgary Stampeders. Additionally, Investors Group Field hosts concerts by many
of the biggest names in the music biz including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Walk Off the Earth, The Zac Brown Band, and more. If there
is a big event being held in Winnipeg, chances are it is taking place at Investors Group Field and StubHub has tickets to
everything going on at this state of the art venue.
Winnipeg is the largest city and
capital of Manitoba, and as such has a plethora of entertainment options for residents and visitors alike. There are several
