Jacksonville Jaguars Road Games

Jacksonville Jaguars Road Games tickets

Jacksonville Jaguars Road Schedule in 2014

The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the prowl for big victories on the road this season as they set out to play against all of the best teams in the AFC South and the rest of the National Football League. The Jags got off to a slow start last season, as the team struggled out of the gate. However, the team came around as the season has progressed, finding some offensive consistency despite not having the most talented offense in the league. The Jags were on the losing end of their first eight contests in 2013, but proceeded to win four of their next five games, showing that this team has a lot of fight in them. The team was seeing a big season from wide receiver Justin Blackmon before his year was cut short by a suspension, but Jags fans are hoping to have this dynamic playmaker back in uniform in 2014. The Jags have some good games coming their way on the road this season, and fans will flock to stadiums all over the nation in order to see how much this team can improve this year.

The Jags will take to the road and head to Indianapolis, IN to take on the Indianapolis Colts this season. The Colts won the AFC South in 2013, and are looking to do so yet again in 2014. It's never easy to take down quarterback Andrew Luck, but other defenses have shown that it is possible. The Jags will look for their pass rush to pressure this young signal caller, but Luck has a way of eluding defenders and finding the open man. If the Jaguars can take down the Colts on the road this season, it could be exactly what this team needs to become a contender.

Jacksonville Jaguars Team Info

The Jacksonville Jaguars stumbled out of the gate in 2013 when they lost their first eight games to start the year. But the team was able to turn it around on November 10th, and proceeded to win four of their next five contests. This team showed a lot of grit since that 0-8 start, which bodes well heading into this season. The Jags will look to find a new quarterback to run the offense, as former first round pick Blaine Gabbert simply did not work out well in Jacksonville. The Jags are hoping to stockpile as much talent as possible, as this club needs playmakers on both sides of the ball. The road to the postseason is never an easy one in the AFC, and the Jags will have to play well on the road if they're going to have a shot at contending for the AFC South title in 2014.

Fan Experience

There are few sporting events that can hold a candle to the atmosphere that you'll experience in the crowd when two National Football League teams take the field, as NFL games are routinely packed with passion and energy you can't find anywhere but the stands. The NFL is one of the top sports leagues in the world, boasting some of the most impressive athletes you're ever going to come across. The best way to truly appreciate what these athletes are capable of is to catch a game in person. The Jags will be hitting the field in eight stadiums other than their own this regular season, and each contest provides Jacksonville football fans with the chance to see how their favorite team holds up under the pressure that comes along with playing away from home against a quality NFL team. Be a part of all of the action this season when you head to a Jacksonville Jaguars road game.

Jacksonville Jaguars Trivia

Where did Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew play his college ball?

The answer is UCLA, where Jones-Drew starred at the running back position. The running back's name back then was actually Maurice Drew, and he added in the Jones to honor a family member. Jones-Drew has been the best player on the Jaguars for years now, giving the team a versatile back that can run between the tackles, as well as outside, and a guy that can catch the ball out of the backfield consistently.

Jacksonville Jaguars History

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been a part of the National Football League since 1995, when they and the Carolina Panthers entered the league as expansion franchises. Since then, the Jags have put up some great seasons for fans to remember, and the fans have supported this tam unflinchingly since the organization's inception. The Jags were able to win two division titles in the late 1990s back when they were a part of the AFC Central division. The team has appeared in the postseason more than a handful of times, though they are yet to reach their first Super Bowl. It will be a very exciting time in Florida when they finally do.
