About Jason Aldean
Jason Aldean's rise to country fame
and glory is as American as his music. From humble beginnings, Aldean learned to play guitar at a young age with the help
of his father leaving him guitar notes and chords to practice while he worked. With a determination to learn all that he could,
Aldean began to surpass his father and began to teach himself songs as well as begin to create his own. Like all success stories,
Aldean's rise to career fame would be riddled with frustration and heartache as he struggled to maintain a record deal; previously
signed to two labels that dropped him due to lack of professionalism and artistic integrity. Finally finding himself with
Broken Bow Records, Aldean would begin to create the albums that stand today as a true testament to his skill and talent.
Albums such as, Jason Aldean and Relentless, went certified platinum ushering in Aldean as a stalwart of the new direction
country would take. Jason Aldean's unbridled success in his field pushed him further as his taste for performance was never
quenched even as a child. Aldean would continue to produce record after record in a seemingly tireless fashion which would
rocket him to country fame as he has now come to know as his everyday life.
Born and raised in Georgia, Jason Aldean
grew up in a divorced home and would travel between his mother's home in Georgia and his father's home in Florida. Both parents
were supportive and enthusiastic about his musical passion and fortitude and it was Aldean's mother who booked his first gig
playing at the local VFW in Macon Georgia. From there, Aldean, formerly known as Jason Aldine Williams, would begin to craft
and create the Jason Aldean that country fans love and adore today. After graduating high school, Aldean moved to Tennessee
to further pursue his musical career and had almost given it up until signing with Lawrence Mathis as a manager wherein five
weeks Broken Bow Records offered Aldean a deal and he dropped Mathis and signed with his new and current agent Kevin Neal.
Aldean would go on to marry his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery and have two daughters with her before filing for divorce
and pursuing a relationship with former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr. As a proud Georgia Bull Dog fan, Aldean was
honored to play the first show in the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium to over sixty thousand fans.
