Jay Ungar dabbled in music from his youth, learning to play the guitar at age seven and getting into bluegrass and folk
music by his high school years. After playing in several bands such as Cat Mother & the All Night Newsboys, Ungar began making
his own music, also continuing to release albums with various bands.
Jay Ungar is known for albums like Catskill Mountain Goose Chase (1994), Civil War Classics (2000) and Ashokan Farewell
(2007), among several others. His talents with the fiddle and mandolin have made him a must-see musician live in concert,
and tickets will soon be available for performances at venues such as The
Ark in Ann Arbor, Mich.
