Jhene Aiko Background

This talented singer-songwriter was born and raised in Los Angeles, a lucky break for any aspiring artist, as LA remains one of the biggest music hubs in the world. In the early 2000s, Aiko worked hard to find a way into the music world, and she eventually became a contributing vocalist for several B2K songs. During this time, rumors abounded that Aiko was B2K rapper Lil Fiz's cousin; and although the two were not actually related, this rumor helped Aiko climb further into the spotlight. At the beginning of her career, Aiko also appeared in several music videos, such as O'Ryan's video for "Take It Slow" and P.Y.T's video for "Same Ol' Same Ol' (Remix)". She was just 15 years old when she released the video for her first single, "No L.O.V.E", and the future career of this young artist looked overwhelmingly bright.

After a few years away from the music world, Aiko returned with more power and creative force than ever before. In 2007, Aiko started releasing original music, and the R&B world quickly started to pay attention to this dynamic vocalist. In 2012, Aiko signed with Artium Records, an imprint of the world-famous Def Jam Records. Following this huge success, Aiko embarked on a tour with artists like Nas and Lauryn Hill, and her growing fame earned her a role as a featured guest on Big Sean's song, "Beware", which charted high in the US. She even went on to open for Drake during his Would You Like a Tour? tour. Over the past several years, Jhene Aiko has performed alongside some of the biggest artists in the world and has brought the house down on Saturday Night Live, and her rapid ascent to the international R&B spotlight is well-deserved. Jhene Aiko is one of the most talented singer-songwriters in the genre, and her fame will just continue to snowball over the next few years.

So if you want to catch one of the hottest new R&B artists in concert while you still can, head over to StubHub to score your Jhene Aiko tickets. Don't let this opportunity slip through your fingers, as Aiko knows how to put on a mind-blowing live performance.
