Jhene Aiko grew up in Los Angeles, California, as the daughter of a pediatrician. But although her family life was typical, the music business infiltrated Aiko's quiet life when Aiko's two older sisters-Mikoyoko and Jamila-became part of the R&B group, Gyrl.
