They played small shows in the Mesa, Arizona scene and in 1995 they released their debut album “Static Prevails.” They have been making music together ever since and now they are taking the stage again to share their music with their loyal fans.
Jimmy Eat World has become a very influential band in the modern rock scene, exposing mainstream listeners to the emo scene. Though they’ve hopped from label to label a few times in their career, it hasn’t slowed them down. In 2007, infamous producer Butch Vig helped them record their sixth album, “Chase the Light.”
