The John S. Knight Center is located at 77 East Mill Road in Akron, Ohio. John S. Knight was a newspaper publisher and editor. He worked his way up from a sports writer position at the "Akron Beacon-Journal" to become the owner of over 15 different newspapers in the US. After his death in 1981, this venue was dedicated to his memory. The John S Knight Center seating chart can be changed when different shows or events require certain seating arrangements.
One of the best things about the John S. Knight Center is the large variety of shows, events and conventions that could take place here on any given night. The lower section of the building features the main exhibition hall, with over 30,000 square feet of available space. The upstairs features a rotunda, and several smaller rooms that can be used in tandem or divided.
